چکیده

Osteoporosis is a worldwide disease depicted by the reduced bone mass, an adequate supply of minerals needed to support remodeling, and their deficiency causes bone-related diseases, osteoporosis in particular, has osteoprotective effects. The aim this recent research was quantify micro- (Mn, Fe, Cu, Zn) macroelements (Mg, K, Ca) peel powder some common fruits (pomegranate, orange, lemon, mango, grapefruit) flame atomic absorption spectrometer (FAAS). extraction done using dilute acids ultrasonic bath. Apple leaves were used as standard reference material (SRM, NIST 1515) optimize ultrasound-assisted (UAE) method at varied operating parameters. Maximum response obtained for extracting 500 mg SRM 60°C temperature, setting vortexing time 5 min while 5.0 mL agent HNO3 (0.5 M)-H2O2 (10%) 90% sonication amplitude ultrasound bath 6 min. While analyzing SRM, percentage recovery range between 96.8 102.7% assure accuracy whereas repeatability (n = 10) study terms % RSD yielding ?2.29 supports well precision proposed method, limits quantitation (?g/g) 0.034, 0.061, 0.065, 0.057, 0.017, 0.175, 0.053 Mn, Zn, Mg, Ca, respectively. UAE reliable, efficient, advantageous over conventionally employed acid digestion with regard less consumption reagents short analysis determination fruit powder.

Development of ultrasound-assisted emulsification microextraction for the determination of trace zinc and copper by flame atomic absorption spectrometry

In this work, we developed a method based on ultrasound-assisted emulsification microextraction (USAEME) for the determination of zinc and copper by flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS). The method is based on the use of the organic solvent carbon tetrachloride (CCl4) as an extraction solvent. In order to obtain a high enrichment factor, the effect of different parameters affecting the c...

Extraction and Determination of Heavy Metals Using Silver Coated Magnetic Nanoparticles and Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrometry

A rapid, simple and sensitive magnetic solid phase extraction (MSPE) method was developed for the pre-concentration and determination of copper and cadmium ions. In this study, modified Fe3O4@Ag nanoparticles were synthesized and then ligand 2-isonicotinoyl hydrazine carbodithiolate (ITHCDT) was bonded to silver due to the formation of covalent bond of S-Ag. In this method, copper and cadmium i...

Determination of lead and cadmium in water samples by cloud point extraction prior to flame atomic absorption spectrometry determination

Pb and Cd in water samples were determined by cloud point extraction (CPE) with sodiumdiethyldithiocarbamate (DDTC) as the chelating agent and octylphenoxypolyethanl (Triton X-114) asthe surfactant prior to flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS) determination. The main factorsof affecting the extraction and detection processes were optimized. The preconcentration of 10 mL ofstandard soluti...

Determination of Trace Copper(II) in Food Samples by Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrometry after Cloud Point Extraction

A new method for the determination of trace copper(II) in food samples by Cloud Point Extraction(CPE) combined with Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrometry(FAAS) is presented and evaluated. The method is based on the fact that hydrophobic complex of copper(II) with sodium diethyldithiocarbamate (DDTC) was formed at pH 6.0 and subsequently the hydrophobic complex was extracted into surfactant-r...
